The Interdisciplinary Geoinformation Sciences working group within the Institute of Geography at the Ruhr University Bochum focusses on the spatio-temporal modelling of the transformation of metropolitan regions, the interdisciplinary integration of geodata and the analysis of (near-real-time) geoinformation, and knowledge transfer of Earth observation to different target groups, including its use in STEM education.
